Monster Hunter World: Iceborne takes players to the New World that has been introduced in the core game. In this expansion, players will explore Hoarfrost Reach, a stunning snowy region filled with new challenges. Hoarfrost Reach presents a new environment with unique ecosystems and new monsters that require greater hunting skills.
One of Iceborne’s key features is the presence of never-before-seen monsters, including so-called “Flagship Monsters” such as Velkhana, which has an impressive design and deadly attacks. Not only that, the expansion also brings some quality of life improvements and changes to game mechanics. These features include the Slinger Burst that can be used while wielding a weapon, as well as the “Clutch Claw” system that allows players to cling to monsters and exploit their weak points.
